Here is a list of pre- and post- workout snacks to help you stay energized longer, recover faster, and feel better:


Fruit Smoothies

Fruit smoothies have high-quality protein, a combination of simple and complex carbohydrates, and can be rapidly digested – perfect for providing lasting energy. Smoothies are also great because you can use your own recipe and drink it on the way to the gym!

Whole Grain Toast

Whole grains have fiber that provides snow-release, sustained energy for your workout. For added protein, top it off with avocado and a hard-boiled or fried egg. For a longer workout, try adding banana, peanut butter, and a sprinkle of chia seeds!

Yogurt Parfait

Create your parfait in just a few short minutes by combining Greek yogurt, granola, and berries. Greek yogurt contains almost double the protein as normal yogurt and only half as much raw sugar. Try this snack if you need an energy boost that’s easier on your stomach.


Avocado Tuna Salad

Prep a batch of tuna salad to have with or without whole grain toast. This easy recipe only takes 10 minutes and can be prepped to last.

Banana Bites

Combine Greek yogurt, sliced bananas, and peanut butter for your serving of protein, carbohydrates, and fat all in one snack! Place bites in the freezer for an even more refreshing taste.

Cheese & Apple Crackers

Pair apple and cheese slices on a wheat cracker for a post-workout or even afternoon snack. Add a mix of cinnamon and sugar for extra flavor.
